Barrique Ulivo

Marble and Stone

From Bianco Carrara to Rosa Portugal, from Absolute Black to the more varied and nuanced slices, marble is the top stone at all, and gives to spaces class and elegance like no other material. Gloss or semi-gloss it can be used in large areas of representation as well as in small jewel-like boutiques. The surface is always “alive” and therefore more porous and less resistant to impact than grès, it gives an incomparable effect. If the marble looks to tradition, stone and granite are well placed in modern spaces, outdoor surfaces, facades, in the infinite possibilities of surfaces finishings (antiqued, smooth, glossy, matte, flame).

Mosaic

Colored or played on the tone-on-tone colors, made of glass or of porcelain, designed to accommodate the most complex decorations…with mosaic can be created almost everything, even in a round shape or a particular shape and can be made with a variety of materials – from glass to stone, from metals to ceramics – and sizes – from square to round, the natural split. The customization with the mosaic is complete and the output is always of great aesthetic effect.

Clinker

Clinker is a brick material obtained by cooking raw materials at a very high temperature, to induce a sort of vitrification of the material. This treatment makes the material particularly dense and resistant, also by the mechanical point of view and gives an extremely hard and grip surface. The different surfaces finishes (raw, semi-gloss or glazed) allow you to combine aesthetics and technology use for facades and outdoor.

Cotto

The terracotta flooring is one of the oldest and most fascinating material in the history of man. Clay is kneaded and cooked in a typical brick texture. Born as a poor material it is today considered as a noble material, mainly used in prestigious buildings such as villas or luxurious apartments, both for floors and for roofs and attics. Renovation of country cottages or old villas makes this material a “must”. It is used therefore, both in inland areas and in outdoor areas. It is a very porous material and, consequently, can absorb liquids and dirt. For this reason it’s treated on the surface with non-toxic waterproofing protection that makes it resistant to wear and stains, easy to clean, without changing its old flavor, its warm and welcoming atmosphere, its typical pink colour.

Their names come from the method of their production. Tiles, made of a substrate and a surface coating (glazing), undergo a single (single) or two (double firing) steps of cooking to a very high temperature to obtain a result of excellent aesthetic quality , in a particular way that enhances the colors and decorations. The lower mechanical properties compared to grès, limit today their use to specific decorations of bathrooms and kitchens; floors with a particular character (tiled effect, for example), special coatings for artistic effect.

Porcelain Grès

Grès is made of a mixture of clay, sand and other natural essences which, after a careful preparation is cooked at high temperature (1000 – 1300 °C). The word “grès” means that the mass of the ceramic tile is extremely vitrified and compact, from which comes its exceptional resistance (unlike glazed ceramics). The word “porcelain”, highlighting the refined elegance that characterizes grès, comes from the use of kaolin, a white clay that is also used for the production of porcelain.
It is an almost completely vitrified material, hygienic, completely impervious (non-porous ) and with high mechanical characteristics ( resistance to abrasion, scratch, shock, chemical attack, frost).
It’s suitable for creating a wide range of surfaces (natural, polished, bush-hammered, textured) and is sold in all sizes, from small pieces of mosaics than three meters tiles, from the thinnest thickness to a considerable one. The wide variety of sizes, colors, finishes and decorations allows you to create aesthetically remarquable solutions of any type and to suit every application.
Today many companies are giving importance to eco-sustainability of grès.

Parquet

In small strips or in large planks, from oak to the olive essence, polished, laminated, stratified, prefinished… The Parquet is one of the most popular materials at all, able to take many different faces and “dress”. Today is also widely used in bathrooms and kitchens despite the objective poor wear resistance and scratch compared to grès . Wood is a natural and living material, which can be treated to give particular colours ( whitened ) but which always guarantees heat into the environment on which it is laid.
